Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman and more. We are not an authorized dealer for any of them.Questions Texas homeowners ask
How fast can you get someone out when our AC quits in a Texas August?
Call us and we will give you a real window for the same day or the next day, depending on how the schedule looks in your part of the state. Heat-related no-cool calls get moved up, especially in homes with infants, older adults or anyone with a health condition. Before we arrive, you can check the thermostat batteries and settings, look for a tripped breaker, swap a clogged filter and clear leaves or grass clippings away from the outdoor unit. Those four checks solve a fair number of calls on their own.
Which parts of Texas do you serve?
We cover homeowners across Texas, and we also work in Oklahoma and Louisiana. The city pages linked on this hub show where we run routes most often. If you do not see your town, call anyway. Our coverage lines move with demand and we would rather tell you yes or no on the phone than have you guess.
Why does our upstairs stay hot when the downstairs is comfortable?
Usually it is a return air problem, ductwork in a hot attic, or a system sized for the square footage but not for how the house actually moves air. A lot of homes built in the 80s and 90s have undersized returns that starve the blower, and attic ducts can pick up serious heat before the air ever reaches a bedroom. We measure airflow and temperatures at the registers rather than guessing, then tell you whether it is a duct fix, a return fix or an equipment issue.
What should we have ready before the technician arrives?
Have the thermostat accessible, know roughly how old the system is, and clear a path to the indoor unit, which in many Texas homes means an attic hatch or a closet. If you have any past service paperwork, set it out. Note when the problem started, whether it is constant or comes and goes, and any noise, smell or water you have seen. Also make sure pets are secured and we can reach the outdoor unit without moving a fence panel.
We smell gas near the furnace. What do we do?
Get everyone out of the house first, then call 911 or your gas utility from outside. Do not flip switches, do not light anything and do not go back in to check the furnace yourself. The same goes if a carbon monoxide alarm sounds. Once the utility has cleared the property, call us and we will inspect the heating system and handle the furnace repair.
How it works
- Step 1
Tell us the symptom
Call or fill in the quote form with what you hear, smell or feel. Warm air, short cycling, a breaker that keeps tripping. Details on your porch help us arrive with the right parts.
- Step 2
We diagnose on site
A technician checks the thermostat, airflow, the indoor coil and blower, then the outdoor unit and electrical side. You get a plain explanation of what failed and why it failed.
- Step 3
You approve the repair
We walk you through the fix and any parts involved before we start. Once you say go, we make the repair and confirm the system is holding temperature before we leave your driveway.

Why homeowners call us
- Built for hard summersWe work on attic air handlers in July heat, undersized returns in older subdivisions, and condensers with hail-flattened fins. Those are everyday jobs across the region, so we know where these systems tend to give out first.
- Air conditioner repair and heating repairOne crew for both seasons. Air conditioning repair when the house won't cool, heater repair and furnace repair when the burners won't stay lit. Same technicians, same records, so nobody starts from scratch in November.
- We explain the failureYou hear which component failed and what it was doing to the rest of the system. If a repair is a short-term patch on an aging unit, we say so and let you decide the timing.
- Respect for the houseDrop cloths, shoe covers, and the attic hatch closed the way we found it. We keep the work area clean and we tell you honestly when a problem is airflow or ductwork rather than the equipment itself.
- All major brands, gas & electricOne independent crew for Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem and more.
- Straight answersIf a system is not worth repairing, we say so, often right on the phone.
