Questions Oklahoma homeowners ask

Which parts of Oklahoma do you cover?

We work across Oklahoma, along with Texas and Louisiana, and the city pages on this hub show where we run calls most often. If you do not see your town listed, call anyway. Our routes shift with demand and we may already have a truck near you.

My AC quit on a 100 degree afternoon. How fast can someone get out?

Call us and we will give you a real window based on where our trucks are that day, not a guess. Before we arrive, check the thermostat batteries and settings, look for a tripped breaker, and clear leaves or grass clippings away from the outdoor unit. If the filter is grey and packed, swap it. Those five things solve a fair number of no-cool calls.

Why does my house feel humid even when the AC is running?

Usually the system is short cycling, low on airflow, or oversized for the house, so it drops the temperature before it has time to pull moisture out. Undersized return ducts in 1990s builds are a common cause across the region. We measure airflow and temperature split at the coil and tell you which of those it is.

What should I have ready when the technician arrives?

Know roughly how old the system is, whether the equipment is in the attic, a closet or a garage, and what you noticed first. Odd noise, warm air, water on the floor, breaker tripping. Clear a path to the indoor unit and the thermostat, and keep pets in another room. If you have paperwork from past repairs, set it out.

I smell gas near my furnace. What do I do?

Get everyone out of the house first. Do not touch light switches or the thermostat. From outside, call 911 or your gas utility and let them make the house safe. Once they clear it, call us and we will inspect the furnace, the heat exchanger and the gas connections before you run heat again.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Tell us the symptom

Call or fill in the quote form with what you hear, smell or feel. Warm air, short cycling, a breaker that keeps tripping. Details on your porch help us arrive with the right parts.

  2. Step 2

    We diagnose on site

A technician checks the thermostat, airflow, the indoor coil and blower, then the outdoor unit and electrical side. You get a plain explanation of what failed and why it failed.

  3. Step 3

    You approve the repair

We walk you through the fix and any parts involved before we start. Once you say go, we make the repair and confirm the system is holding temperature before we leave your driveway.

Why homeowners call us

  • Built for hard summersWe work on attic air handlers in July heat, undersized returns in older subdivisions, and condensers with hail-flattened fins. Those are everyday jobs across the region, so we know where these systems tend to give out first.
  • Air conditioner repair and heating repairOne crew for both seasons. Air conditioning repair when the house won't cool, heater repair and furnace repair when the burners won't stay lit. Same technicians, same records, so nobody starts from scratch in November.
  • We explain the failureYou hear which component failed and what it was doing to the rest of the system. If a repair is a short-term patch on an aging unit, we say so and let you decide the timing.
  • Respect for the houseDrop cloths, shoe covers, and the attic hatch closed the way we found it. We keep the work area clean and we tell you honestly when a problem is airflow or ductwork rather than the equipment itself.
  • All major brands, gas & electricOne independent crew for Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem and more.
  • Straight answersIf a system is not worth repairing, we say so, often right on the phone.
